For the 2nd Time Nashua is Offering Free STD Testing on Valentine’s Day

What could be more romantic than taking your Valentine on a date to get checked for a sexually transmitted disease? If this sounds like something you and your partner would be into, then you may want to make reservations at a Nashua restaurant on Thursday.

For the second year in a row, the Division Public Health and Community Services is offering free testing for STD’s, HIV, and Hepatitis C. Testing will go from from 10am to 7pm on Thursday at the Community Health Clinic, located at 18 Mulberry St.

The Centers for Disease Control says there’s been an increase in the number of cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis nationwide. Though as New Hampshire has the lowest amount of reported STDs compared to the rest of the country.

Division Director Bobbie Bagley said the test only takes 20 minutes and you get the results right away. I guess you can then decide whether or not to ask your date to come back to your place after dinner.

Dave has been on Seacoast radio since 2011. After a 20 year career in the U.S. Coast Guard, he decided to trade in a career of driving boats for a career in radio, a place he says he’s always wanted to be. Born in the Bronx, NY and raised in Connecticut, he’s an unapologetic and die-hard Yankees fan (sorry Sox fans). When he’s not behind mic, you can hear him anchoring afternoon news on our sister station, News Talk 1270 WTSN. You can also find him fishing the waters of the Seacoast, or hiking any of the gorgeous White Mountains on the weekend.
